Research information
A smaller version in size ("With the Bear (I)", 66 x 49 cm), coming from the collection of Dr. G. Barbu, participated in the Retrospective Exhibition "M.H. Maxy", Bucharest, Dalles Hall, October-November 1965, and is reproduced in the exhibition catalog, cat. 54. The differences between the two versions are both in size and in regard to the attitudes of the background characters. A version of the work ("With the Bear II", 66.3 x 49.5 cm) can be found in the collection of the Mureș County Museum.
