Research information
The artwork was part of the Theodor Pallady's 7th personal exhibition, Romanian Athenaeum, 1935, cat. 34, according to the inscription on the reverse - H 34 (8).
PROVENANCE
historical collection Emil Ottulescu, lawyer (1882-1954). Most likely, the work entered the famous Bucharest interwar collection in the period immediately following the exhibition, Ottulescu being one of Pallady's regular collectors and even the latter's financial sponsor; dating from the '60s, private collection from Bucharest, a gift from Ecaterina Caragiale-Logadi.
