The memory of the doctors and paramedics who fell in the line of duty during the First World War has long been honoured in Romania, in numismatics and through medals; this plaque, made by the famous engraver Mauriciu Carniol, with the phrase "Tribute / from / Eforia to the hospitals / civil / doctors heroes / and / officials / with whose blood helped to create / Greater Romania", next to the years 1916 - 1918 of participation in the Great War and surrounded by a wreath of laurel and oak on it.
