This year marks 100 years since artist Vasile Blendea's first participation in the Official Salon. Characteristic for him and his family is the constant attachment to the visual arts, a certain sincerity in the artistic act, and devotion to the diversity of artistic fields practiced by family members: painting, sculpture, tapestry, restoration, etc. The case of the Blendea family artists is evidence of the documentation within the history of Romanian art of generations of artists (alongside Maitec, Nicodim, Pacea, Chintilă, and others) who have contributed to the modernity and progress of the visual arts. The Contemporary Art Auction brings together a unique selection of works by the Blendea family artists (Vasile, Constantin, Maria, Adriana), which we invite you to discover at the Cesianu-Racoviță Palace!
