Description
Rigobert Bonne (1727-1794) was one of the most prominent French cartographers from the second half of the 18th century, appointed head of the cartographic service of the French navy. The piece in question is part of the "Atlas of all known parts of the terrestrial Globe", in an 1781 edition. Copper engraving colored manually after printing.
